Overview
• INSRD faced inefficiencies in device management and onboarding workflows.
• Limited visibility, fragmented compliance tooling, and inconsistent communication from a previous vendor impacted operational efficiency.
• With deeploi, INSRD achieved up to 80% time savings, stronger security and lower IT costs through a scalable, startup-friendly solution.
IT Challenge
As a growing insurtech startup, INSRD needed a reliable system to manage its IT infrastructure. Every new hire required hours of manual work: sourcing devices, setting them up, creating logins, and preparing onboarding checklists by hand.
“Whenever we had a new joiner, it was plenty of work,” shares Yannik Möller, Finance & Operations Lead, INSRD. “Before deeploi, I had to create a huge list of every tool and manually install everything: Slack, Google, HubSpot, Teams…”
Their previous provider compounded these challenges: poor communication, no visibility into device status or ownership and a clunky platform. IT support was insufficient, and most issues bounced back to the Yannik and the founders.
"Whenever we reached out to support, we would never get an answer, no matter if it was for the devices or even payment details. There was no way to see who owned which device or even find out when the rental period ended. Not what I expect from a platform in 2025,” Yannik says.
Also, for a company in the insurance space, data security and compliance were non-negotiable priorities, adding another layer of complexity to their IT needs.
Solution
INSRD turned to deeploi to bring structure and scalability to their IT operations. The transition began with a smooth and well-supported onboarding, which Yannik describes as "a very good experience."
"Your team really grabbed my hand during the onboarding," Yannik explains. "You had the platform with all the videos on how to do different workflows, which was amazing.”
With deeploi, INSRD now enjoys:
Automated device setup. Devices arrive pre-configured with all necessary apps and settings.

Robust security with MDM & remote wipe. Enables remote locking, data wiping, and policy enforcement, which is crucial for compliance and data protection, in case of theft or loss.
Device procurement. Intuitive ordering workflow, with leasing options via partners like Topi.
Centralized device management & visibility. The deeploi platform shows who owns each device, rental periods, and status with compliance-critical MDM controls. It simplifies inventory tracking and eliminates the need for manual spreadsheets.
Role-based software packages (“bundles”). Ensures new hires get the right tools automatically while preventing shadow IT.
IT Support. An expert team with fast response times within 12 minutes and a deep understanding of startup needs, ensuring issues are solved before they become blockers.

Since switching to deeploi:

• IT management workload has decreased by 70%, freeing up Yannik and the founding team to focus on crucial business activities.
