IT challenge
Before deeploi, HOLY’s IT was managed in a patchwork way. IT issues were usually directed to colleagues who were “more tech-savvy”, but there was no dedicated IT structure.
“If someone had an IT question, they went to whoever knew best. It worked, but it added to our workload,” explains Kieu, People Operations Manager at HOLY.
Onboarding was equally manual: every new joiner required individual tool setup across multiple apps. At the same time, hardware was leased via an external provider whose system lacked clarity, which often led to unnecessary leasing costs.
“Communication with them was very difficult, and the way everything was monitored in their system was fairly chaotic. It was not a good overview that we had,” Kieu recalls.
