IT Challenge

When Florian Gandl joined RECUP as IT Operations Team Lead in 2022, he encountered a complex IT environment. "The first moment was a bit overwhelming because there were many different components in place, and we had a lot of support efforts," Florian recalls. His team faced two key challenges that required attention and resources.

The first was the software deployment process: "The biggest challenge was the software rollout. Every employee needed multiple software applications, and we had to manually grant admin rights or access remotely for each software individually, which took up a lot of time," explains Florian. This process, while necessary, required consistent effort and limited the team’s capacity to focus on more strategic initiatives.

The second challenge was the constant stream of access-related support requests. "It was always support tickets – needing access to folders, teams, or specific tools," Florian adds. The manual rights management process created a high volume of requests, which diverted the IT team’s attention from larger, more strategic tasks.

Solution

To address these challenges, RECUP implemented deeploi's Mobile Device Management solution that transformed this company’s operations through a single, unified platform. This solution provided the foundation for automating routine tasks while giving administrators comprehensive visibility and control.

The platform automated the download of software and role-specific bundles (pre-set packages of IT tools customized for different departments), ensuring employees had the tools they needed from day one without requiring setup supported by RECUP’s IT team.

RECUP's IT team now focuses on quickly resolving first-level issues internally, while deeploi's specialists handles more complex second-level support tasks. This strategic distribution of work created a more efficient support system.
